English language instruction
Workplace education uk
Workplace Education UK provides a range of solutions to assist people at work, who use English as a second or foreign language. Learning is typically delivered around work schedules, to suit your organisation.
Having worked as an Associate Trainer, and TEFL Teacher for over 10 years, I began Workplace Education in 2015, responding to a request to upskill technical staff in a Sales Team, in the manufacturing sector.
Today, Workplace Education UK’s Customers include a variety of organisations, who require tailored learning solutions for their staff.

Lessons are arranged to suit the organisation, taking into account:

Business English
Technically skilled workers often need help to improve English, so they can apply for more senior roles. I’ve also worked with foreign staff who have recently been promoted, and who need to start managing staff by giving clear instructions in English.
General English
Whether using English as a first, second or foreign language, there is often room for improvement. General English tuition is the broadest area of tuition I deliver, and can include intensive practice on particular areas of concern, such as everyday (survival) English for life outside the home country, or anything specified by the student.
Level Checks
Level checks can indicate whether a worker will be suited to a role, where English is spoken or written, or where they need to follow instructions given in English (for example, health and safety.)
A level check will be used prior to lessons, to group students together where levels of skill vary. This allows students to study at a similar pace.
Grammar Lessons
Grammar lessons may include intensive practice on an area of difficulty, or the learning of new, or more advanced grammar. IELTS past papers can be used if a student needs practice on academic reading, writing, listening.
Public Speaking Workshops
I run half day workshops for those new to public speaking, and for anyone who simply wants to practice in preparation for a speech, an interview or a presentation. Workshops can be run at your premises, or at a venue of your choice. Minimum numbers apply.
